Slate Racing was founded to reimagine what’s possible in motorsports. As Canada’s first female-led sportscar racing team, we are here to create space and open doors for women in one of the world’s most male-dominated sports.
Today, women make up just 7% of professional drivers globally. Despite racing being one of the only sports where men and women compete directly, the gender gap remains stark—both on and off the track. Many members of our team have experienced being the only woman in the garage, on the grid, or in the paddock. We’re here to change that.
Slate Racing exists to challenge the status quo and prove that talent knows no gender. We believe motorsports should reflect the diversity of the world around us. Join us as we move towards a future where diversity isn't just accepted; it's expected.
